The Horizon School is licensed by the Washington State Department of Early Learning and the Washington State Board of Education. All of its policies and procedures reflect best practices and are in compliance with State licensing standards. Thematic Curriculum: Each day, children rotate with their
teacher and classmates through different classrooms for instruction
in math, sciences, language arts, gross motor, creative play,
computers, fine arts and world cultures - all linked to a theme
(e.g., dinosaurs and prehistoric mammals).
Class size: Our teacher-student ratio for
preschoolis 1 to 10 and 1 to 15 in kindergarten and first
grade.
Flexibiity: We offer full-time and part-time schedules,
half day or full day, and before and after school care for Horizon
