School Notes

  • ICW Baptist School was founded by the late Dr. R. J. Amory with the desire for young people to have a quality Christian education. The motto of the school is "training the heart to serve"-II Timothy 2:15. ICW uses ABeka curriculum, which had a strong Phonics program; Bob Jones Bible; and Alpha Omega is used in grades 10-12 as well as ABeka for some elective subjects. The students are tested in the spring using Terra Nova achievement test materials. ICW competes in ODACS regional and state competitiions. The Jr. High/High School Handbell choir have gone to state competition and placed second in the state for several years and first in state in 2012  They then competed at Nationals.
