School Notes

  • ICW Baptist School was founded by the late Dr. R. J. Amory with the desire for young people to have a quality Christian education. The motto of the school is "training the heart to serve"-II Timothy 2:15. ICW uses ABeka curriculum, which had a strong Phonics program; Bob Jones Bible; and Alpha Omega is used in grades 10-12 as well as ABeka for some elective subjects. The students are tested in the spring using  Stanford  Achievement test materials. ICW competes in ODACS regional and state competitiions. The Jr. High/High School Handbell choir have gone to state competition and placed second in the state for several years and first in state in 2012  They then competed at Nationals.
