Oakbrook Preparatory School Photo #2 - Robotics Clubs compete across South Carolina. Starting in our lower school, the Robotics Club continues throughout 12th grade.
Oakbrook Preparatory School Photo #3 - Our boys golf team shown at the 2013 State Championship tournament has won 4 State titles in a row. Starting with the 2013-14 academic year, we now have girls varsity golf along with a middle school team.
Oakbrook Preparatory School Photo #4 - Swimming is a growing Sport at Oakbrook. The 2012-13 Swim Team advanced their entire team to the State Tournament with Will Patterson winning the 500 meter State Title.
Oakbrook Preparatory School Photo #5 - Fall Festival is an annual tradition at Oakbrook. From great food, live music, climbing walls and rides. In 2013 over 1,000 people enjoyed this great Oakbrook family event!

Oakbrook Preparatory School Photo #8 - The Knight is the official mascot of Oakbrook Prep. Named Victor, the Knight not only is a mascot for our athletic teams, but Victor is a symbol of honor across all parts of Oakbrook.
Oakbrook Preparatory School Photo #9 - Oakbrook's inaugural Football program launched in the fall of 2012. Competing with a Middle School and Varsity Program, Oakbrook is classified as 2A in SCISA.
  • Rosemary Moore founded the Village School in 1992 based on the work of the British educator Charlotte Mason.
  • Mrs. Moore desired to created a school where students would engage directly with nature and the classics in literature, art, and music.
  • Since its founding, the school has grown to become Oakbrook Prep, a rigorous college preparatory school with an international emphasis on a beautiful 38 acre campus in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Oakbrook families represent more than 40 countries by birth or nationality, Students participate in international travel, missions, and exchange programs with Germany, China, and Spanish-speaking countries.

After being part of Oakbrook for over 7 years, our family couldn't be more pleased with the educational experience at Oakbrook. The Character, ethics and leadership at school reinforces what our children are taught at home. The ability and encouragement to pray at school with others of different Christian denominations is a welcomed change to their former school. Our soon to be graduate is finding that colleges are recruiting him to be a part of their school not only because of academics, but because of the leadership and independence nourished by Oakbrook. We would recommend Oakbrook to any family looking to have their child in a safe, loving environment while preparing them for college.

My children have thrived at Oakbrook. They started in K5 and 1st grade and struggled with the accelerated curriculum at first, but through the supportive atmosphere throughout the school my children are thriving today. I often think that if my children were in a larger school where teachers did not have time to nurture them, they would be considered normal or average and due to the wonderful combination of acceleration and support, they are ahead of their peers in public schools. I am so grateful for Oakbrook. The school has changed my children's lives.

My grandchildren have been attending this school for four (4) years and I am amazed at the educational level of 2d & 4th graders. The children attending this school are a step ahead of education and social skills. I pray GOD will continually Bless this school and all administrators and students as well as former graduates.
