St. Nicholas Academy is a Catholic elementary school located in South Louisville.
We offer a fully-certified preschool program as well as a high-quality academic program serving grades K-8. In addition to the core subjects of religion, Language Arts, math, social studies and science, we offer art, library, music, PE, Spanish, and technology. St. Nicholas provides a wide variety of academic, artistic, and athletic extra-curricular activities.

School Notes

  • Students entering preschool must be age three or four before August 1 of the school year.  Students entering kindergarten in the years 2015-16 and 2016-17 must be age five before October 1.  Students from our founding parishes of Most Blessed Sacrament, Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Sts. Simon and Jude, and St. Thomas More are given first priority for admission.  Children with special needs are admitted after consideration of the severity of the learning disability, level of support needed, and availability of resources.
