More than 30 years ago, The Children`s Schoolhouse Montessori Preschool first opened its doors to the wonderful children and families of Wilmington, North Carolina.
We're constantly amazed as former students return to enroll their own children in the school. We're proud of all that The Children`s Schoolhouse community has accomplished through the years. We're always in awe of a child`s curious, creative, imaginative, and loving natureour children have taught us much.
The Children`s Schoolhouse of Wilmington, North Carolina, is a small and traditional Montessori school committed to a high quality of individual academic experience administered with an enthusiastic, but gentle approach. The school's loving and supportive environment creates a safe place for children to learn and grow. The Children's Schoolhouse is well-known for skillfully creating a strong Montessori foundation for each child who carries over into any school environment.
In addition to having a four-year college degree, each classroom teacher is Montessori Certified.

Prices range from $275 - $380 We offer a Marine science summer camp full of sealife, sea lore, daily art projects, music and movement, outside environment and much more. The children learn about a different marine animal each day. Many sealife hands on experiences are offered during the week!
