Trinity Lutheran Church & School Photo #2 - The small class sizes at Trinity Lutheran allow more individualized attention for students. We provide a comprehensive program of education for Kindergarten through 5th Grade that includes the core areas of reading and English language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, in addition to physical education, art, music, and technology. All subjects are taught with a Christian and Biblical approach.
Trinity Lutheran Church & School Photo #3 - Pre-kindergarten students enjoy listening to a story. In pre-kindergarten, students are introduced to language arts concepts including letter sounds; listening skills, participating in group discussion; and developing picture vocabulary.
Trinity Lutheran Church & School Photo #4 - We like to say that we are located at the "intersection of A Loving God & Loving People," but really we are located in central Lincoln, Nebraska near 56th and Holdrege Streets, at 1200 N. 56th St. If you have older students, we are conveniently located next to Lincoln Lutheran Middle & Senior High School.
Trinity Lutheran Church & School Photo #5 - Each spring, our students help with planting a school garden and learn valuable lessons about plant life cycles and biology. Many of these students attend our summer camp program and may help harvest the produce during the summer months.
Trinity Lutheran Church & School Photo #6 - Trinity Lutheran School is located at 1200 N. 56th Street in Lincoln, Nebraska. We offer classes for students age 18 months through Grade 5. Regular operating hours are 8:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.; extended school care hours are 7:00 a.m. to 5:45 p.m.

Trinity Lutheran Church & School Photo #8 - First graders learn about human anatomy during an engaging science activity. Our K-5 program utilizes a blend of teaching methods including textbooks, hands-on learning activities, and technology-based learning.

The students were challenged to build truss bridges that were at least 10 inches in length using plastic straws and tape. The bridges were tested to see how much weight each could support.
Trinity Lutheran Church & School Photo #10 - E-Week (Engineering Week) activities for 2nd graders designed and built structures using toothpicks and marshmallows. The structures were then tested to see if they could withstand a simulated earthquake.

Trinity Lutheran strives to build camaraderie across grades by having older and younger students learn in fun and engaging ways.

Trinity provides Kindergarten through 5th Grade students with a fully-equipped computer lab and each student works on his or her own Chromebook. Computer curriculum is designed to enhance and extend lessons taught in the classroom and help students become familiar and comfortable with using a computer.

Our students are taught to view the world through a Christian lens that guides them to share Jesus' love with those around them and live according to Biblical ideals. We hold a weekly chapel service and parents are always welcome to attend.

This is a day of fun competition and fellowship with the three other Lutheran elementary schools in Lincoln. Trinity Lutheran, along with these schools and Lincoln Lutheran Middle/Senior High School compose the Lutheran Schools of Lincoln (LSL).
