School Notes

  • You want a school that sees your child as an individual.
  • We built one.
  • AMPed Hybrid Academy is a K through 9th hybrid school in Farmington Hills where rigorous academics and personalized learning work together.
  • Students learn through project-based work in small cohorts, follow their own Personalized Education Plan, and attend campus two days a week plus every other Friday, with faculty-guided independent learning the rest of the week.
  • We're proud to be the first school in Michigan with MSA Next Generation accreditation.
  • A school designed around your child AMPed Hybrid Academy is a complete private school program for students in grades K through 9th, designed from the ground up around how students actually grow. Learning is organized around depth: what students understand, how they apply it, and where they go next. We believe high standards don't require a high-pressure environment. They require a school designed well enough to make the hard work feel worth it. Belonging by design Our cohorts are small and thoughtfully structured, so students know each other and teachers know them. Trust and psychological safety are where real academic growth begins, and that's where cohort design at AMPed starts. Project-Based Learning At AMPed, the project is the curriculum. Students work through inquiry, real projects, and genuine mastery, building lasting understanding and confidence in their own thinking. They know what they're working on, why it matters, and how to get better at it. Personalized Education Plans Every student's learning plan is built around their individual strengths, needs, and goals. Faculty provide structure, consistent feedback, and real accountability every day, on campus days and independent days alike. Student portfolios document growth over time so families can see how their child is developing. A schedule built for real life Students attend campus two days a week plus every other Friday. Campus days are for collaboration, hands-on project work, and time with teachers and classmates. The remaining days are structured, faculty-guided independent learning that builds focus, time management, and ownership of learning. Growing with every stage The program evolves as students do. Lower Elementary builds foundational skills, curiosity, and confidence through guided exploration. Upper Elementary brings deeper inquiry, collaboration, and growing independence. Middle School adds greater responsibility, interdisciplinary projects, and academic ownership as students prepare for advanced work. Gifted learners are challenged with greater depth and complexity within our mixed-age cohorts, so advanced thinking happens inside a real learning community. Accreditation AMPed is accredited by the Middle States Association and is the first school in Michigan to earn MSA Next Generation accreditation. Is AMPed right for your family? AMPed is designed for families who value academic depth over coverage, relationships over scale, and thoughtful design over convention. If those things matter to you, we'd love to show you around. Our campus is located at 29375 Halsted Rd in Farmington Hills, is nut free, and is a proud member of the Safe Space Alliance.
