We have been part of Ascension school for 9 years with my two children. It is a treasure of a school and we are so grateful for the amazing experience we have had there. Their combined focus on academics as well as leadership and personal growth is extraordinary! I have seen my son excel in ways that would have not been possible elsewhere, it is the dedication of the teachers and the supportive environment that make this place so special, a true community that cares about the students, each other and the families. They have been in person full time since last Sept which shows how dedicated this place is towards the success of their students. Their handling of Covid was hands down the best of any school in Ventura County, they are simply the best!

My children have been at Ascension since three months old and are now in 2nd and 4th grade. We have had a very rich academic experience combined with a loving community. Ascension nurtures the whole child into caring, responsible and accountable members of our community. I would highly recommend this school.

Ascension has been our second family since my son was in preschool. The staff are warm, welcoming and motivated to know each child in the school. They have high standards for Academic achievement and make learning fun! My son is in second grade and loves his teacher, and all of the enrichment classes such as music, Spanish, Outdoor classroom and Physical Education. We are so grateful to be a part of this school!!

My boys have been at Ascension since preschool, and now my eldest son is in 6th grade. We have been so happy at Ascension. The teachers and staff are wonderful. Ascension is more than a school, it's a tight-knit, and yet welcoming, community. The children are not only challenged academically but they also have enrichment classes like music, Spanish, PE and outdoor classroom. If you're looking for a school for your kids, I cannot recommend Ascension enough. Plus, they are open for in-person (& remote learning), full days 5 days a week!

How Diverse Are Private Schools?
Decades ago private schools could have been accused of being elitist. You had to have money to attend. The student populations were fairly homogeneous. Fortunately that has changed.
