Burlington Little School

Founded in 1979 by a group of parents and educators, Burlington Little School has grown into an exciting learning environment with quality academic programs for children of preschool, kindergarten and elementary age.
Our small class size allows us to offer each child individualized, creative, and challenging learning activities supported by a community of highly involved, caring staff and parents.
Our teachers nourish each child's love of learning, help to grow self-esteem and confidence and build a classroom community that encourages creativity, diversity, positive self-esteem and artistic exploration.
Our aim at BLS is to provide an atmosphere that encourages the child's maximum growth intellectually, developmentally, physically, socially, and emotionally.
A low teacher-student ratio is consistently maintained. The curriculum is drawn from the needs, abilities and interests of students.
Our approach is hands-on, child-centered, individualized and relevant to the real world.
We emphasize choice, decision-making, creative problem-solving, and the arts and sciences.
