  • At Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and School, our MISSION is to foster a love of Christ in the hearts of our students and to create lifelong learners dedicated to excellence. Good Shepherd Lutheran School isownedand operated by GoodShepherd Lutheran Church. Its purpose is to provide the highest quality of creative and challenging education possible to the congregation and the community. All teaching is done in a Christian atmosphere with love and understanding for each child. Our program is designed to teach the Christian way of life to all children in our care. Our school began as a kindergarten in 1967. Through the years we have grown in numbers to include a Florida Department of Children and Families #C20LE0043 licensed preschool serving children 1 to 4 years old and Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten for children who turn 4 years old on or before September 1st. We also offer an accredited Kindergarten through 12th grade. Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and School preschool offers a well-balanced Bible based curriculum, as well as instructional classes in music, art and nutrition education. Our library and chapel service provide added enrichment to the weekly instruction of our preschool students. Our VISION is to be the best early learning center and K-12 education in Lee county. Our GOAL is to provide a loving and caring environment for the entire family, enabling every child to strive to reach their fullest potential, knowing God and His love in Jesus Christ.
