School Notes

  • Our mission is to instill a biblical worldview in our students, and they will, in turn, inspire, impact, and serve their communities. They will become critical thinkers who are academically and spiritually prepared for the purposes to which God is calling them. They will be defenders of the Christian faith and able to exquisitely articulate that defense. They will fix their thoughts on all things true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, and admirable.

Last year, as a special education professional, I had the opportunity to work with HCA staff and their amazing students. After 30 years of teaching and administration, I witnessed a learning environment like no other. This school embodies what a Christian education looks like. The student-centered approach to both academics and personal growth is extraordinary, with compassionate teachers who are focused on preparing future, successful leaders in our Society. This school's graduates also "walk the talk" of life-long commitment to others. I cannot recommend Heritage enough for its Christian integrity and uncompromising educational programs.

HCA is a quality, Christ-centered (5 stars!) school through and through! It's academically challenging yet also accommodating to each child's need. The teachers and director are like family and really care about the students academic success and about their faith and character development. Our children had a great experience there and made some great lifelong friends there too. We highly recommend HCA in Spirit Lake, ID. We only wish they continued into middle school and HS.
