School Notes

  • We are a small private school dedicated to teaching our children to be successful, responsible, and caring adults. We offer classes pre-school through twelfth grade.JCSwas founded byEva Lois Johnson McCandless, in1981.It is the philosophy of the school to provide for each student a firm, controlled, but kind atmosphere in which to study and learn. A traditional textbook approach and/or our own curriculum development will be led by a teacher in all subjects. The school endeavors to meet the educational needs of each individual in this framework. We offer a variety of activities and academic studies for our students. Students participate in history and science fairs, VFW essay contest, a Christmas program, and we have an awards night at the end of each year where every student is recognized for their talents and achievements.
