The Montessori Academy at Belmont Greene is Full Member of the American Montessori Society.
We are dedicated to the Montessori philosophies of hands-on, child-centered learning at all levels and to providing stimulating, developmentally appropriate activities that cultivate each child's natural desire to learn.
Our curriculum communicates key concepts through experience to each child as they are ready.
As part of Northern Virginia's newest community, we at the Montessori Academy at Belmont Greene know that it is not enough to rely solely on our high academic standards.
Helping our students to become productive members of our community is a top priority. MAB strives to foster the development of the whole child.
Our desire is to develop in our students a sense of honesty and ethical behavior, responsibility for their own actions, and care for the world around them, as well as to encourage independence and self-esteem.
