My son is in kindergarten at Oasis and it has been an amazing experience being part of this community. Every morning he looks forward to going to school and at every pick up he is happy and excited to share with me what he did at school. The class sizes are small even by private school standards: his kindergarten class has only 7 kids and many other grades have around 10 or fewer students per class. I love that his teachers are able to give him more attention and develop individualized learning plans tailored to his learning style and temperament. I love that he is able to learn at his own level (more advanced for Mandarin since I speak it at home with him and beginners for Spanish) and is having fun while learning. He is always singing songs in Spanish or showing me the educational games they play in class. The parent community is amazing as well. Everyone has been friendly and welcoming. Parents can be as involved as they want or more hands-off but either way, the school keeps parents updated on what is going on in the school and with their children. The school cares about parents' opinions and their voices are heard. The tuition is also very reasonable for the quality of education provided. I can send both of my kids to Oasis for less than the tuition of one child at some Pasadena/LA private schools. Enrolling my child at Oasis has been one of the best decisions I made and I can't imagine a better school for my child! In summary, Oasis is an affordable private school with small classes taught by teachers who will be able to give each child individualized attention and develop individualized learning plans tailored to each child. Oasis fosters a child`s curiosity and love of learning in a nurturing environment where they will be able to learn and enjoy learning Mandarin and Spanish (along with other subjects that are in traditional schools).
