Theyoung child has a strongdesiretounderstandtheorderintheworld and a unique abilitytoabsorbnewconcepts.
The Montessorienvironmentisaminiatureworld,carefullyandattractivelydesigned, whichthechildcanexamineandcontrol.  The child learnsby workingwitharichvarietyofmanipulativematerials.  Thethreeyearcurriculumincludespracticallife,sensorial,language,history,science,art,music,andmovement.
Ability to focus on achosenactivityaidsthechildindevelopingconcentrationandalogicalapproachtoproblemsolving.  The Montessori materialspresent one conceptatatimeinasequentialmanner,thusincreasingthechild'schanceforsuccessfulcompletionandencouragingconfidenceandconcentration.
The child gains a senseofpeacefulsatisfactionfromhisorheraccomplishments.  Theemotional and social developmentofthechildisanimportantpartof our program.
