St. Joseph School, as an educational facility of the Parish, accepts the responsibility of educating the whole child.
Our unique role as a Catholic School gives us the responsibility and privilege to teach the message revealed by God through His son, Jesus, as the cornerstone of the intellectual and emotional growth of each child; share the experience of Christian community through worship and daily prayer as the root of the spiritual and moral growth of each child; spread His truth and love in service to others as the foundation for the social and personal development of each child through a spirit of respect for self and others; and promote academic growth through a well-defined curriculum that supports basic skills and encourages lifelong learning.

St. Joseph School in Big Bend is a small close knit community of students in grades 4K-8th grade. It is a faith-centered school that puts character and manners at the center of their day. The teachers and staff are excellent and take the time to get to know each student's individual needs. The academics, technology, and athletic programs match and exceed those at the public school. Small class sizes allow for individual attention and integration across all grade levels. I would recommend this school to anyone!

A parent and I chat about finding the best school for her daughter. While the parent may be fictitious, her questions are quite typical of the kind of questions and concerns parents have when thinking about sending their children to private school.
Marketing the small private school can be done affordably and effectively. We suggest five easy steps to make that happen.
