I was one of seven children enrolled at St. Joseph's. My parent's worked two job each to have each of us attend SJA. It was a privilege for which we are each eternally grateful for their sacrifice. Sister Mary Edna was the principal at the time. Though a tall and looming presence, she guided the school ever so stalwartly, with compassion and a smile for each of her students. The education we received was outstanding! From Sports, to "logic", to English, and Mathematics, phonics and penmenship! And, of course, Mass every day! I remember the friendships formed, the outstanding teachers and the strong curriculum that serves me to this day! Thank you, SJA! I am ever so grateful for the academic, moral, spiritual and atheletic foundation you provided!
