School Reviews
5 After one semester, Im so glad we made the decision to enroll our child. The Peak has built a community that prioritizes good citizenship and character. Kids are challenged to deeply explore their subjects and develop their talents and abilities. My child has found both friends and role models. I can see a much development in the short time we've attended, and the kids benefit enormously from outdoor courses and small class sizes. - Posted by Parent - Peak Parent |
5 We love the Peak School for many reasons, including: The small overall size of the school gives it a close sense of community. The student-teacher ratio is very low, so each kid gets personalized attention. The teachers and administrators are really caring and invested in the outcome for each individual. The school is very flexible and works with our son's super busy and varied activity schedule (ski team, hockey team, boy scouts, travel). The staff really connects to the abundant natural resources and geography of Summit County. They encourage exploration of the rivers, mountains, and forests around us. This creates some really unique opportunities like attending the Breckenridge Snow Sculpture competition to visit the team from China, or Mountain Day where they spent a day sledding and ice skating. Overall, we've been very impressed with the educational opportunities and caring atmosphere provided by The Peak School. - Posted by Parent - 7th Grade Break |
5 The Peak School has given our son the opportunity to grow as an individual in a supportive community in which faculty and staff care deeply about the students and go out of their way to provide students and families feel welcomed and supported. The teachers are excited to teach and truly care about the students. The teachers have the ability to teach your child based on their needs with small class sizes. Our son has excelled at the Peak School by having the opportunity to work one on one with a teacher when needing extra help. The staff has always made him feel like an individual and not just another student. - Posted by Parent - Parent |
