I was recently asked if I were to describe Ben Lippen in one word what would it be, and the answer was simple: Jesus. The presence of Jesus is evident in every area of the school; from the curriculum to the teachers and administrators. And that makes all the difference. It is one thing to have high academic standards, but it is something completely different to be able to love the student as Jesus loved them, right where they are- because it is easy to celebrate successes, but it takes a strong, Christ-like community to be willing to slow down and work with students when they aren`t moving at the same pace. Ben Lippen sees the value in the person, understanding that not everyone moves at the same rate, and they are willing to do whatever necessary to help our children grow and succeed.

We have been at Ben Lippen for 3 years, experiencing both middle school and high school. The mixture of rigorous academics and high level sports, topped off with amazing families and teachers, have resulted in a great fit for our family. BL works to foster a family-oriented environment, resulting in our children/friends wanting to be around families, not trying to avoid. We are not at Ben Lippen to "limit what our children are being exposed to", but are being fully blessed by ALL our children are being exposed....teachers/students displaying Godly character, interims taking them all over the world, international students, teachers/students sharing first hand knowledge as missionaries in other countries, etc. Ben Lippen has given our children the freedom to be all that God is calling them to be, as well as giving us as parents the freedom to parent them as we are being called.

My son's first year at Ben Lippen School has been amazing! From our initial visit, the presence of God was evident, with the students and faculty. Our son is receiving a Christ-centered education from a faculty that exhibits daily how much they care about his development: academically, spiritually, and socially. If we chose one word to describe Ben Lippen, it would be family. Observing how students, parents, and the staff interact, genuine care and love is evident. The peace we feel knowing our son is at Ben Lippen is immeasurable. He is being prepared for success, while living a Godly life. Send your child(ren) to Ben Lippen will be the best decision you make; it has been for us!

Our family has been at Ben Lippen for 8 years, and all of our children have been enrolled since Pre-K. We have continually investigated and compared what Ben Lippen offers with other schools in the area, and Ben Lippen easily rises to the top. The school provides a Biblical worldview in all aspects of the academic curriculum and provides opportunities for students to participate and compete in a full range of extracurricular activities that they might not have at a larger school. Students are instilled with a culture to love learning and pursue their Christian faith. The leadership is taking the school in a great direction, and the school's trajectory for the future is exciting!

We have had our children in Ben Lippen since K-5. Our daughter recently graduated and is attending Clemson University. Our son is in 10th grade. We have never regretted our decision to send our kids to BL. It is such an encouragement to send our kids to a school where the teachers support our Christian world-view. Our kids have been academically challenged and have had many extra-curricular opportunities. Our only real concern was whether we could afford to send our kids all the way through to high-school graduation. Ben Lippen has worked with us the whole way and we have received financial aid every year.

This is our first year at Ben Lippen and we could not be more pleased. We've loved everything about it! The faculty and staff are engaged and committed to helping students learn. The Ben Lippen community is so genuine and welcoming. They have an extensive curriculum that is Christ centered, focusing on intellectual, spiritual and character development. It is big enough to offer lots of sports & extra curricular activities but small enough to fell like family. We had been in the most sought after public school in the area since coming to Columbia 6 years ago. But the move to Ben Lippen has been the best investment we've ever made. I wish we had started both our girls here 6 years ago.

We have been so pleased with Ben Lippen`s Christ-centered education. The Word is being woven into all aspects of our children`s education. There is a true sense of community at Ben Lippen. It has a family oriented atmosphere and a caring environment. The academics have been challenging and are preparing our students for college. Ben Lippen is also intentional about reevaluating each year to improve their academics as well. They are seeking excellence and it is very much appreciated. The competitive sports program has been a central part of our children`s lives. It`s amazing to see our coaches praying with and pouring into our children. Lastly, the diversity of the students was a huge selling point for us. We have students from all different backgrounds and all over the world. It is a good representation of the real world. We purposely chose Ben Lippen for all it has to offer and are grateful that the Lord directed us here many years ago.
