School Notes
- Our experts designed our classrooms — and every activity and lesson — to help prepare your child for success in school and beyond. With designated learning centers such as dramatic play and blocks in every classroom, children have the opportunity for rich social play and child-initiated discovery. You’ll also find that our classrooms feature a print-rich environment full of carefully selected materials, written charts and labels, and children’s literature. By helping your child connect spoken words and print, we’re helping develop early literacy and writing skills. Whether your child has first words or first grade on the horizon, we’re excited to show you how everything in our center is designed for learning!
- At KinderCare Cascades maintaining a safe environment for our children, parents, and staff is a primary concern each and every day. We achieve excellence in this area with daily checks and balances in every part of our school. Our well trained staff members are on the lookout for health and safety hazards in every room, closet, on the playground, and our center vehicles every day. To effectively maintain these high standards center staff keep informed about current safety standards and regulations, and are trained regularly so they understand what is dangerous or unsafe, and how to prevent accidents through safe work practices. Emergency preparedness activities are conducted regularly, so that children and staff feel prepared in the event of an emergency. You can rest assured that a member of our team is always watching, evaluating, and documenting health and safety concerns throughout the center.
