Empowering Youth and Communities Academy (EYC Academy) was created in 2014 by a team of seasoned educators in St. Louis, Missouri to bring outstanding one-to-one education to 6th through 12 grade students.
EYC Academy is an approved private agency for K-Adult with Missouri Departement of Elementary and Secondary Education
Citing a need to accommodate a variety of learning styles not met by traditional schools, EYC Academy pairs students with a certifed teacher who is a subject matter expert in their field to guide them on their individual path to success. Parents can view EYC Academy as a transitional school offering an individualized options for learning, in a positive, low-stress environment with a ONE TEACHER, ONE STUDENT approach to edudation.
As a year-round school with rolling enrollment, we offer full-time and dual enrollment, as well as tutoring and enrichment programs offered in-center or LIVE, ONLINE in our virtual classroom. EYC Academy is a perfect partner for Home Schooling families, offering the legacy project-based curriculum of CALVERT LEARNING, with the added option of attending the school or getting the tutoring assistance with any curriculum.
We also offer families the options of receiving therapuetic services at the school, during the course of the students' school day for their convenience.

They are what makes EYC Academy successful for your child. They are active listeners, working to make sure your child understands lessons and has achieved mastery in their area of study before moving on to the next area. They develop relationships with your family, partnering with you for your child`s success. Staff meets at least monthly with families to keep parents apprised of their child`s progress and adjustments being made to their learning plan. As an approved school by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education from the State of Missouri, our approved curriculum meets the Missouri Learning Standards and is taught by qualified teachers and therapists with many enrichment and special education backgrounds. Our program is especially unique, in that it blends academics with therapeutics, including art and music, to provide a balanced, well-rounded education, tempered with the disciplinary techniques taught through the Love and Logic Professional Development Curriculum for Educators.
