Our daughter attended Frederica Academy for the 5th-grade. We had an AMAZING experience and had hoped she would graduate from there. Unfortunately, we are moving out of state and we will have fond memories of Frederica Academy. The staff are exceptional (especially Mrs. Holt) they all truly care about the students. We recommend Frederica Academy and are sad to leave paradise...posted-Parent

Our children have attended Frederica Academy for the past 20 years and I couldn`t imagine a better place to watch my children be taught not only academically , but socially as well. We have a daughter that has gone on to college and is flourishing. We have three more to go and feel very blessed to have Frederica as an option in our community.

Frederica is a small school with a variety of offerings. Safe environment, small class size and excellent teachers. From lower school to high school, there is a sense of connection and community. Strong rigor and opportunities to be challenged at all grade levels. Support for extra help and extra work. Excellent Academic center and college counseling.

Outstanding prepatory school with high academic rigor and hands on college counseling beginning in 9th grade. School`s philosophy runs throughout all programs and enables all students to become engaged, developed and involved within our local community and reach outside to areas beyond. Personal attention to the individual learner and academic preparedness for future skills begins in middle school. Administration knows each and every child well.

Frederica Academy is a great school and worth every penny!! It is a safe environment with layers of security in place, excellent and caring teachers who are producing very smart and well rounded young men and women. College acceptance rate of 100% to top rated colleges like UNC, UVa, GA Tech, Villanova, Davidson, UGa, to name a few. Our son has attended since first grade and will begin high school in there in the Fall.

Our son is about to complete Middle School at FA and has been a student there since first grade. Frederica Academy (K-12) offers a safe environment, excellent teachers and academics, small classroom sizes, and an arts and sports program as well. We have observed that every graduating senior goes to a good college and to name a few : scholarships to UNC, UGa, GaTech, UVa, Emory, SMU, Davidson , etc. This is a great school.

Our son has attended Frederica Academy since Kindergarten, and will be a Junior in High School next week. We are pleased with his experience at F.A., and look forward to sharing his journey as he approaches the graduation stage in 2019. We recommend Frederica Academy and appreciate this small college preparatory school on our island in Southeast Georgia.

Now that school has safely reopened, what can we parents do to support and encourage the schools we care about so much?
Sending your child to a single-sex school is one of several options you have when it comes to private schools.
This article aims to show you where to look for information about school reopening protocols, school reopening communications, schools that have closed, and schools with COVID-19 cases, among other COVID-19 related issues.
