My children have attended GBDS for 4 years now. They feel very supported, accepted and loved at this school. The academics are rigorous and they are thriving!! The small class sizes and differentiated learning is unique! Their mastery of Hebrew becomes apparent at such a young age! It`s incredible! We love GBDS! I would definitely check it out if you`re looking for a Jewish Day School in Bergen County!

This our 3rd year at GBDS and we are so happy with our decision to continue our son's education at this school. This year has been especially challenging with Covid19, however GBDS rose to the occasion with enabling its students to get in person learning in a safe and healthy way as well as continue to ensure the well being and mental health of its students, teachers, and indirectly us, the parents. The warm and welcoming environment combined with the high standard teaching and curriculum is the reason why I love this school!

My daughter graduated Academies at GBDS and we only the best things to say about the school. The rigorous dual language curriculum combined with a loving and welcoming environment allowed her to thrive both academically and socially. Our family was welcomed to the school from the first moment. It was great to realize that no matter the level of observance every Jewish family feels a sense of belonging at GBDS.

My kids have attended GBDS for the past 3 years and I can honestly say I couldn't be happier. They love school, have great friends, are learning so much in a safe, warm environment. They are building a very strong Jewish identity, are becoming very fluent in Hebrew at a young age, progressing perfectly well in secular studies as well. Unlike some other Jewish schools in the area, this school is truly non-judgmental and non-denominational. You don't have to fit into a certain "box" to feel comfortable here. Check out GBDS for your Jewish kids!!
