School Notes

  • Gulf Coast Classical Academy set out as a Full-Time K-8 Classical Latin Christian School in the spring of 2021 during the COVID-19 pandemic. The school was incorporated under the name Gulf Coast Classical Academy, Inc as a non-profit, Florida registered private school in January 2022 and is governed by a talented school board.

  • The Classical Latin Christian model naturally follows the values and principles that were once commonplace in our nation's education. After researching numerous private schools in the area, it was found that this full-time model did not exist in Pinellas County, FL. This led to the formation of Gulf Coast Classical Academy.

  • As a Christian school, we recognize that God governs our school, and our parents, teachers, administration, and school board help foster an environment that adopts this philosophy. A classical education complements this philosophy as it provides our students with a thorough understanding of true history, wisdom, and virtue through the works produced in the past by great minds, thinking, and logic. The result is something remarkable; your child will simultaneously gain an immense amount of knowledge in a tech-free small class setting while learning how to behave civilly and morally, and how to solve complex problems in a changing world.

  • GCCA's parents, teachers, administration, and school board have come together to form a dedicated community of individuals who will deliver a far superior education and environment to your child. The caliber of GCCA's faculty is impressive by any standard. This school was formed to spread God's word and joy, and to be enjoyable and fulfilling for all those involved; this is His school and our teachers and administration are the vessels. Children are a gift from God; it is incredible what they can achieve in the right environment.
