Hayden High School serves the Catholic community of the greater Topeka area and is supported by the 7 Catholic parishes of Topeka and 2 Catholic parishes in Lawrence. Admission is provided to students of other faiths.
Hayden provides transportation for Lawrence families (at this time the bus only transports students from Lawrence).
Hayden offers a comprehensive college preparatory secondary education, including AP coursework and dual (high school/college) credit opportunities offered on campus.

We have sent one of our daughters to Hayden and another one will be starting soon. My wife went to Hayden and loved it. We would like to continue this tradition, but it's much more than that. The education they will be receiving is great and adding in the faith factor is an added bonus. We want to instill that foundation in our family, and sending them to Hayden is a great option. The faculty is amazing there and really challenges them to go outside of their comfort zone which is a great way for a person to grow. They offer so many activities that anyone can find something they want to do there. We feel Hayden is a great chapter in our daughters' lives, and we hope they continue to grow and aspire to be great human beings.

I am currently a student at Hayden and I could not imagine going anywhere else. This school pushes me academically. I am challenged but I still can ask for help and do well in all of my classes. I love that I can be involved in sports and clubs. I feel like I have made some really good friends and have been able to connect with people from all grades because of how close all of the students are. Plus I get the very special opportunity to deepen and learn about my faith in both theology class and when we get to attend mass and other faith-based services. Overall this school has a great environment and I am so glad that I get to attend Hayden.

I sent my daughter to Hayden because it is important for me to be steeped in her faith and be in an environment where Catholic values are upheld. Kids are kids wherever they go to school and will make many mistakes, but I know at Hayden they will be dealt with in a firm but the loving way that aligns with our shared faith. Academically my child's needs are met with challenging coursework and high standards. She is able to participate in several sports and activities that she may not be able to in a different environment. She is happy and cannot imagine herself at a different school. The small, family environment is second to none.

I am not a Hayden Graduate but I did send both of my children to Hayden. I eventually joined the Hayden team as a Leadership Member. I have been impressed with the school in many ways. Small class size was important to me, diverse faculty, the number of students that go to College or Technical school and the community look and feel are just a few the areas I felt were important when it comes to a High School experience. The students have the ability to be in numerous activities which makes their overall High School experience a positive one. Hayden offers a unique community atmosphere and this was important in my overall decision.
