Hope Lutheran School is a Christ-centered community that includes the church members, pastor, parents, school staff, and students. As we teach a variety of subjects each day, our sole objective is to prepare children to serve God and others.
All children are taught God's word; it permeates each subject and is not confined merely to daily classroom devotions, the religion period, or weekly chapel services.
Through our teaching we try to prepare them to become responsible stewards of the unique gifts God has given them, and in so doing, the Holy Spirit enables them to lead a joy-filled Christian life that becomes a thanksgiving to God.

Cannot say how great it has been to have my son attend this school. We started during Covid and did 3 years at the preschool and opted to stay as my son struggles with change, and he literally just moved classrooms across the campus, and many other kids stayed after preschool. The entire school knows my son. They have prayed us through many tough family situations, including a house fire, the loss of our pet, my son's dad passing away suddenly, and my being in and out with my Navy Reserve time. They know my mom and my son's adult siblings, all of his key players in the family. We feel my son gets one-on-one time with the teacher with only 13 classmates. The teachers are hard-charging and creative and stay close with your child...because of the small classes. I pray that I can afford to keep him in private school at Hope for a long time...because it is well worth the money to not just have your child above level in academics but to have them care for his heart.

When looking for a place to send our children, we meticulously reviewed multiple schools in the San Gabriel Valley. We wanted to find a school with a faith-based education, an effective student-to-teacher ratio, substantial resources, robust extracurricular activities, and a sense of support & family... Hope Lutheran met every one of those criteria and more! It is rare to find a school filled with so many supportive teachers and parents; it's truly a family. The principal, Brenda Nguyen, is an incredible leader and advocate for the children. We are very blessed to have our children attend such a welcoming, inclusive & organized school. We look forward to having our children grow up with the "Bulldog" family from kindergarten through 8th grade.
