It was founded in 1952 by Father Charles Killgoar, to serve families at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish as well as families in the surrounding community.
Catholic education is currently provided to 430 students in grades preschool through eighth grade.
Special offerings include art, music, computers, Spanish, gym, and band.
In addition to a teaching staff of 26, IHM benefits from the services of four teacher aides, a librarian, a Special Education teacher, numerous tutors, and other parent and grandparent volunteers.
