Light & Life Christian School (Closed 2006)

Light and Life Christian School, a ministry of Light and Life Christian Fellowship (Free Methodist), was a result of a God-ordained vision given to one of our churches first pastors, Harry Black.
Pastor Black hired Mrs. Ethel Klotzbath to start the school. After canvassing the neighborhood in the summer of 1956, the school opened with 23 kindergarten students.
In 1958, they added grades first through third grade. By 1965, the school had an enrollment of 200 students.
Over the years, the Lord has brought many gifted and caring pastors, principals, church members, teachers and staff to keep our school strong.
Our school has maintained a good reputation in this community for offering a quality academic program entertwined with the Word of God and His will for our our lives.
Our school is a member of The Association of Christian Schools International.
We have always valued the quality of our teachers and staff and only hire people who are well educated, truly love the Lord, and view their job as a call from the Lord to give their students the best education and care possible.
Through highly trained, committed, and dedicated Christian faculty and staff, Light and Life Christian School will endeavor to provide its students an excellent academic education within the framework of Biblical beliefs and principles giving the students the tools to lead successful and Christ-like lives.
