- At Marianapolis, students are involved in activities across disciplines and are constantly challenging themselves to set new goals and break molds.Our curriculum encourages students to think creatively and to articulate ideas effectively.Learning by doing is a hallmark of a Marianapolis education through project-based learning platforms such as Centers of Excellence and LEAP. The Centers of Excellence allow students to pursue a specialized diploma in a specific academic track that includes an internship and culminates in a year-long capstone independent study project. LEAP (Live. Experience. Advance. Prepare.) is a required program that encourages students to step beyond customary learning situationsand begin a lifelong process of challenging the self to exceed comfortable boundaries. Course offerings typically focus on specialized skills, the arts, community service, scientific field studies, cultural immersion experiences, or outdoor challenges.These signature programs have them applying what they are learning in the classroom to real-world situations on and off campus, as well as helping our students stand out within the college admission process. With over 30 clubs and organizations, as well as a plethora of athletic opportunities, Marianapolis graduates are confident, conscientious youngadults ready to lead.

- Olivia Summiel '19 - Began professional career in the NBA with the Utah Jazz.
- Josean Velez '99 - Built a distinguished career as a Narcotic Detective in partnership with the Drug Enforcement Administration while also serving as a SWAT operator, K9 handler, instructor, and Honor Guard member. His bravery and dedication have earned him numerous honors, including Rookie of the Year, Officer of the Year, and recognition for his lifesaving actions during the Pulse nightclub tragedy and the rescue of a child. Beyond his professional service, he co-founded the Live for Brie Foundation, helping provide swim education and support for families in need.
- Chrislie Lopez '99 - In 2018, she founded the Live for Brie Foundation in memory of her daughter, transforming personal tragedy into a mission that provides survival swim lessons and grief counseling to families in need. An accomplished attorney and partner at her law firm, Lopez has dedicated her professional life to advocating for others with integrity and compassion.
