Mission Basilica School is a Catholic Parochial school with single grade classrooms from Pre-Kindergarten through Eighth Grade. Ideally located on the beautiful grounds of the Mission San Juan Capistrano, the school site is nestled between the Historic Mission San Juan Capistrano, the Jewel of the Missions, and the Mission Basilica San Juan Capistrano, a National Shrine.
Founded in 1928, Mission Basilica School is steeped in a rich heritage begun over 200 years ago by the Blessed Junipero Serra.
Our curriculum is enriched by traditions celebrated throughout the school year.
We feel our students have the best of both worlds.
The school administration and staff, through ownership and dedication to our Philosophy and Mission Statement, are committed to ongoing spiritual and professional development that promotes student learning and enriches the lives of our students.
