- Portland Chinese School was founded in 1975 and later registered as a non-profit educational organization in 1988.
- In 2000, it was officially registered as an alternative private school.
- Our mission is to teach chinese language and culture using traditional chinese characters and phonics.
- The graded classes, from kindergarten to the twelfth grade, are designed for children to learn speaking, reading and writing in Chinese language.
