Portland Chinese School was founded in 1975 and later registered as a non-profit educational organization in 1988.
In 2000, it was officially registered as an alternative private school.
Our mission is to teach chinese language and culture using traditional chinese characters and phonics.
The graded classes, from kindergarten to the twelfth grade, are designed for children to learn speaking, reading and writing in Chinese language.
