Regents have been a blessing to our son. Our son transferred from a Montessori school into first grade. Socially he is shy but he had no trouble has the class size was only 13 kids and the teachers are all very loving and welcoming. The culture is one of happiness and community. I often leave the school in a better attitude for having been there. Scholastically the school is challenging but in a good way. They expect a lot from the kids in terms of how much they learn but they also have a ton of play and application days outside of the classroom which I find to be really enriching. The garden center rocks and so does the science aspect behind it. PE is actual exercise combined with games so its fun but serves a purpose. My son has 6 public speaking opportunities in his 1st-grade year and he really came out of his shell because of it. Love the teachers. Love the support staff. Love the family involvement. I always know what my son is doing and what he is learning. The teachers are accessible on a daily basis and email you back right away as well.

I am tremendously thankful to have my children enrolled at Regents. We live in Westlake and moved our children from the Eanes school district in elementary school. My children have attended the grammar school, school of logic and school of rhetoric. Although we found the Eanes schools to be great, our time at Regents has far exceeded our expectations and previous experience. The rigorous academic programs, low student teacher ratios, and dedicated faculty have brought about remarkable change in my children's level of academic interest, achievement and personal growth. The focus, expectations, and attention from the staff at Regents allowed my children to identify gifts which had previously gone unrecognized. The children, staff, and families with whom we interact are diverse yet like minded when it comes to living out our Christian faith in a classical educational environment. There are a multitude of opportunities for extracurricular activities that are accessible to every student. It is refreshingly commonplace to see an athlete involved in fine arts. The facilities are second to none. The workload is significant and requires a high level of commitment from the student and family. The unique sense of community has been a tremendous opportunity for our family to be part of a loving and nurturing extended family. We are blessed beyond measure to have our children attend Regents.

Our 6 years at Regents have been a positive academic and social experience for our children and an enriching community for us as parents. The school has repeatedly risen to the occasion of providing a rigorous academic environment, brought to life with meaningful trips, festivals, and special events. While the classical curriculum is often challenging, the teachers are supportive, encouraging, and loving recognizing each child as an individual. There is support on many levels of administration for shepherding the child's character as well as fine-tuning their mind. Children make mistakes, and the school emphasizes coming alongside the parents in guiding their children. There are ample opportunities for parents to be involved in the classroom, organizing class specific, or school-wide events. The K-12 campus provides the older students with the opportunity to be a positive roll model for the younger students and is also a unique opportunity for parents with older children to support and mentor younger parents.

We came to Regents 7 years ago in search of a school that would provide our son with more than just a great academic education, which he was receiving at the school where he was attending kindergarten. We came for the Christian Worldview & character development and we have stayed for that and the parent, teacher and administrator community. Together we work to prepare our children for the path and not the path for our children.

We have been at Regents twelve years, so we've experienced all aspects of the classical education, from kindergarten to senior year. It offers rigorous academics, committed teachers and staff, a warm and welcoming community, and enriching field trips and in-class events, all done with great intention. The goal is to produce students who love to learn, and who can converse intelligently. We have benefitted from athletic and fine arts programs, their drama department puts on excellent plays, and their coaches are carefully chosen to care for the whole child, both skills and character. We highly recommend Regents School of Austin.
