We transferred in mid-year in 1st grade. Wow. Our kiddo begrudgingly attended his first two schools and one pre-K, so it is truly a testament to Kirby Hall that he is excited to arrive (he runs in from the car every morning). The built environment is unparalleled, the academics are rigorous without being overly ambitious, and the community is warm and welcoming. I wish we would have started here in PK4, but suppose our first few experiences were necessary to appreciate how unique and wonderful Kirby Hall School is.

We are so grateful to have found this school. After one year here, both of my children are thriving - they feel challenged, happy, and encouraged daily. The admin, teachers, and other parents are incredibly dedicated and supportive of ALL the kids. We couldn`t have asked for more and I`d encourage any parents considering the school to visit at open house night.

Great school, great people. We're almost done with our second year at Kirby Hall School and I could not have asked for a better environment for my child. We are greeted every morning with friendly hellos from staff and parents alike. It may seem small, but it brightens the morning. The workload is high, but it lacks any resemblance of overwhelming pressure. It is spread out throughout the day and week that we don't feel overwhelmed. The school has also increased its available after school activities, as well as family events, which keeps us active in our child's education and environment. I knew when I began my search for private schools in Austin that I wanted 2 things: 1. a solid education that would challenge and support my child in future classrooms and experiences, and 2. a small classroom size environment that would not lose my child to the masses. We are nothing short of happiness and relief with Kirby Hall School.
