Best school I could ask for as a parent of three children. The teachers truly know and understand my kids and care deeply about their learning -- intellectual, social, emotional., and physical. I am so grateful to this school for being thoughtful about how best to teach and what needs to be taught. The faculty encourages communication and partner to support individual growth.

I have two children at Renbrook, one who started in Kindergarten and another who started in 4th grade. Both have had an exceptional experience with individualized instruction made possible by the small class size. Having 11 - 13 kids per class is a true benefit. Socially, they both have found a number of great friends, and the administrators and teachers are very attuned to social dynamics and responsive to any issues that may arise - accommodating friend requests for classroom placement when appropriate. One of my children needs reading support and that program is excellent, providing individual instruction and many tools to help them improve their reading skills.

Renbrook has been incredible for our son. He switched there from a very good public school but where he was lacking the individual attention and creativity he needed. At a friend's recommendation, we went to a trial day at Renbrook for 5th grade and that kid came out after one day a changed student. He was happy, confident, and excited to go to school. He was incredibly disappointed to know that he couldn't go back the next day. He was enrolled the next year and never looked back. He made every day count and the students and faculty made him feel welcome every day and be the best student and person he could be. While expensive, we never regretted the investment. It is truly an incredible school.

Renbrook has been an absolutely amazing school for my son. He has attended since fifth grade and is getting ready to graduate this year. Renbrook comes across in all its marketing materials and admissions experiences as a strong school, but you never really know until you commit. The school has surpassed our expectations and my son is so well prepared to enter high school. There are many teachers at Renbrook who have shown sincere care and affection for him and have made such a lasting impression on him. It's an amazing school.

Renbrook is truly a magical place. The teachers are amazing, caring, passionate, and dedicated. My son and daughter come home happy every day. Even though there is an easy-going feel to Renbrook, the students are challenged academically. In addition to the fabulous teachers, the administrative staff is top-notch. Everyone comes together as a team to make Renbrook the place you want to be.

We have four daughters that have graduated from or are currently at Renbrook and I cannot say enough about the wonderful learning ecosystem. From the dynamic, hands-on learning to incorporating the natural habitat around them into the curriculum to the amazing, passionate, and caring teachers and staff, our girls are challenged, celebrated, and happy. As a community-oriented family, it's important to us that our children are educated on civic leadership responsibilities and respect and Renbrook instills lifelong values. It's a wonderful, joyous purpose-led community that has also done a terrific job navigating through COVID under Headmaster Sigrist's leadership.

We've been at Renbrook for the past three years, with children now in 2nd and Kindergarten. The teachers and students of the school are such a close-knit community in which our children feel happy, comfortable, and excited to be a part. As parents, school communication is so interactive that we always feel connected to our children's learning without having to ask. We have been so grateful for all that Renbrook offers our family and can't wait to continue watching them grow through 8th grade.

My husband and I feel very thankful for the foundation our daughter is experiencing at Renbrook. The size of the school and investment of the teachers create an environment where holistic learning can really flourish, with many connections across subjects. We see how students are guided to think about big picture issues, and critique history and culture in thoughtful ways. There is also a strong moral compass that we see across all aspects of the school. Even in this time of distance learning, Renbrook is going above-and-beyond to maintain connections with families and a spirit of community. Thank you, Renbrook!

I can not say enough about the gift that Renbrook has been to my family. We have had two children go through this private school from Pre-k through 8th Grade. My son is sadly graduating this Spring. Both children have had an incredible and nurturing experience for different reasons. The teachers and staff care about each student and their individual strengths. We have had one that needed to be academically pushed and one that needed extra support. Renbrook fosters a love of learning in all types of students! The campus has been like a giant classroom for them. We feel extremely lucky that our kids were able to attend Renbrook and are both ready to take on the world's challenges. Thank you Renbrook teachers!!!!

Our son joined the Renbrook upper school this fall. We have been very pleased with the quality of education and social dynamics. The adults genuinely care about the whole child and encourage respectful behavior in tandem with a strong work ethic. Our son repeated his 6th grade year, and the contrast from the 6th grade public school curriculum is striking. The math program is well beyond where he finished in 6th grade at our neighborhood elementary school. The most engaging piece for our son is the amount of project-work assigned at Renbrook. He is learning to work collaboratively and budget his time for long-term projects. The upper school achieves a nice balance of blending the necessary requirements of a standard 6th grade curriculum with the curiosity and creativity which are still so much a part of a 12-year-old. The sports program is inclusive and has offered him an opportunity to try new things. The JV teams are fun and allow kids to be a part of a team and gain valuable lessons, without the year-round commitment that often accompanies youth sports today. It can be hard to justify tuition when CT has some outstanding public schools, but for our family the results have been worth it.

The feeling that the school, its faculty and staff, and fellow students have for this special place is immense.
