At Renbrook, we educate the "complete" student-your child will grow intellectually, socially, and ethically.
Renbrook School prepares your preschool to eighth grade child for success at secondary school and beyond.
At Renbrook, your child`s education will be characterized by small classes and personal attention from faculty members.
With about 200 students in each of our Lower and Upper Schools, class sizes of 10:15 are typical.
In this smaller, focused learning environment, your child will have the opportunity to ask questions, share ideas, and to learn-both from dedicated, passionate educators, and from the other students in the class.
We value challenging academic work, but also encourage creativity, versatility, and a balanced, healthy lifestyle.
Most importantly, like few other schools, we support your child`s individual advancement and achievement. This is learning. This is Renbrook.

School Reviews
5 My husband and I feel very thankful for the foundation our daughter is experiencing at Renbrook. The size of the school and investment of the teachers create an environment where holistic learning can really flourish, with many connections across subjects. We see how students are guided to think about big picture issues, and critique history and culture in thoughtful ways. There is also a strong moral compass that we see across all aspects of the school. Even in this time of distance learning, Renbrook is going above-and-beyond to maintain connections with families and a spirit of community. Thank you, Renbrook! - Posted by Parent - Ellen |
5 I can not say enough about the gift that Renbrook has been to my family. We have had two children go through this private school from Pre-k through 8th Grade. My son is sadly graduating this Spring. Both children have had an incredible and nurturing experience for different reasons. The teachers and staff care about each student and their individual strengths. We have had one that needed to be academically pushed and one that needed extra support. Renbrook fosters a love of learning in all types of students! The campus has been like a giant classroom for them. We feel extremely lucky that our kids were able to attend Renbrook and are both ready to take on the world's challenges. Thank you Renbrook teachers!!!! - Posted by Parent - Remy Schwartz |
5 Our son joined the Renbrook upper school this fall. We have been very pleased with the quality of education and social dynamics. The adults genuinely care about the whole child and encourage respectful behavior in tandem with a strong work ethic. Our son repeated his 6th grade year, and the contrast from the 6th grade public school curriculum is striking. The math program is well beyond where he finished in 6th grade at our neighborhood elementary school. The most engaging piece for our son is the amount of project-work assigned at Renbrook. He is learning to work collaboratively and budget his time for long-term projects. The upper school achieves a nice balance of blending the necessary requirements of a standard 6th grade curriculum with the curiosity and creativity which are still so much a part of a 12-year-old. The sports program is inclusive and has offered him an opportunity to try new things. The JV teams are fun and allow kids to be a part of a team and gain valuable lessons, without the year-round commitment that often accompanies youth sports today. It can be hard to justify tuition when CT has some outstanding public schools, but for our family the results have been worth it. - Posted by Parent - Melissa3 |

5 After visiting several schools in the area for our daughters, RENBROOK SCHOOL, was the easiest decision we had to make. Superb faculty and staff, and a 5 star facility. Waiting to see what the final product looks like. FM - Posted by Parent - FM2017 |

5 Renbrook provides a solid foundation for its students. I am grateful for the skills and confidence it provided me and how it prepared me for a successful secondary educational career and beyond. The feeling that the school, its faculty and staff, and fellow students have for this special place is immense. - Posted by Student/Alumni - junk |
