School Notes

  • Resurrection Catholic School is located in Denver Harbor on the city’s far East side off of Interstate 10. We are located at the corner of Majestic and Market Street. The original building of Resurrection Catholic School was completed in the summer of 1937, and before the end of July, Father Henry Parmentier obtained four Sisters of St. Mary from Fort Worth to staff the school. Today, Resurrection is going through a transition period. We have recently received a major grant from the Kinder Foundation that allowed us to revitalize our campus with innovations and renovations. We have installed two new playgrounds, an athletic field, and a new gym floor. We have also purchased a brand new iMac and mobile iPad lab, with interactive whiteboards in each classroom, so that our teachers may interlace technology instruction into their lessons. Our current focus is on academics while keeping our Catholic identity visible in the actions of our students, as teachers develop diversified lesson plans in a faith-based atmosphere. At Resurrection Catholic School, we are dedicated to "Faith, Family, and Future," come by and see us!
