We have been with RCDS for 6 years and love it. The small classroom sizes and nurturing communication helps my children grow academically and confidently. RCDS provides stem, music, and art, which my children love and have grown to appreciate.

Rockland Country Day School is not a school, it's a family. Small class sizes. My daughter was shy and insecure. RCDS has mold my daughter into a strong, independent young lady. I love that my daughter has a family at RcDS.

If a place can be your spirit-animal, then mine is unquestionably Rock land Country Day School. I went to middle school here in the 80's, and it was trans formative. In fact, my career as a children`s book author and screenwriter is due entirely to the years I spent at this school, inspired by its marvelous teachers, idyllic campus, and passionate focus on creativity and uniqueness. 30 years later, I have the honor and delight of sending both of my children to RCDS, where they are now being inspired. I have watched both of them absolutely blossom here, not just as students (though my son has gone from a struggling dyslexic 4th grader to a confident Honor Roll 7th grader who adores reading) but also as good, decent people. And that's what makes this school so special: every student there is lovingly guided toward becoming their best self. The result is a vibrant and wonderfully diverse campus filled with interesting and artsy kids, all happily marching to their own beat. This place is a true hidden gem! If you have a child who is artistic, creative, or simply needs a place that will embrace them as a unique individual, this school will be the answer to your prayers. I recommend RCDS with every fiber of my being.

My daughter is flourishing academically and socially in kindergarten at Rockland Country Day School. The teachers at RCDS are warm, approachable, and skilled in their disciplines. The school promotes a culture of inclusivity and kindness and creates a safe and nurturing community. My daughter has daily positive interactions with teachers and students in the upper grades and has told me, "At Rockland Country Day School, we like to think of ourselves as a family."

AMAZING SCHOOL. Excellent teachers that truly care about their students. Great academics. Small classes. Wonderful art program, my kids are having a great time and proudly called it "My second favorite place" At this school, you will find teachers that care about their students and are willing to help you throughout their challenges. At RCDS, you will make life-long friendships and be opened to a whole new world of possibilities the best decision I made for my kids.

There are so many great things to say about Rockland Country Day School I don't know where to begin. Our daughter is flourishing there in a way she never did in any public school. She is getting an excellent education as well as developing her musical and artistic talents. She receives individualized attention from a nurturing staff who care about her personally as well as academically. It is a wonderful environment that helps each child become their best authentic self. I recommend it to everyone with school-age children!

Rockland Country Day School is one of the best decision that I have made for my son. I love the small classroom size and the individual attention that my son gets from all of his teachers. Overall, my son has flourished this past school year at RCDS!!!

Both of our children have been attending RCDS since kindergarten. During this time we've seen them blossom into curious, self motivated individuals who enjoy reading for fun. Instead of overloading kids with copious amounts of homework RCDS teachers concentrate on making sure the child understands concepts in the classroom giving them assignments only for areas where they may need a little more reinforcement. This give kids free time to be kids and have a well balanced childhood. We're extremely happy with our school choice and highly recommend it to other parents.

Rockland Country Day School has been a second home to our children. Our kids do not want to stay home or take a day off, because they don`t want to miss music, art, or reading the time. Besides growing their academic skills they also help them become a better person. RCDS taught them how to speak up for themselves, how to build healthy relationships, and most importantly how to have a good time while learning. The staff at RCDS sees each child as a whole child and supports them and challenges them based on individual needs. We really appreciate RCDS for taking good care of our children.

Rockland Country Day School is the best decision we made for our daughters education. The small class size and open communication with teachers and staff really allow my child to grow academically. RCDS provides music, art, even stem for the youngest of students throughout the week. My daughter really loves her school and has had flourished at RCDS.
