Santiam Christian School

Santiam Christian School consists of a preschool (ages 3 - 4), an elementary school (grades K-6), a junior high school (grades 7 & 8) and a senior high school (grades 9 - 12).
Professionally trained Christian teachers at all levels, quality curriculum, and excellent facilities combine to produce a total Christian education package. Santiam Christian School exists to assist Christian families in their responsibility of training their sons and daughters to become faithful disciples of Christ.
Santiam Christian represents a conservative evangelical point of view, both in its teaching and its overall administration.
Santiam Christian is committed to high quality academic education in a distinctive Christian setting.
Our classroom style is a conservative, traditional approach where classroom discipline, modest dress, respect for authority, and a genuine desire to learn are characteristics that can be observed. Beginning at the elementary level we emphasize a program of strong academics.
Reading programs are centered around a phonetic approach.  The daily curriculum consists of Bible, Math, language arts, reading, spelling, physical education, science and history.

School Notes

  • Santiam Christian is a unique educational environment. Each and every day we strive to balance overall academic rigor with individual accomplishment, Christian world-view with cultural influence, our sense of community and family with the needs of each one. While we are not a perfect place, we believe God has called us to this responsibility and we do our best to answer that call with excellence and yet humility. Please spend some time learning more!

This is our 7th year at Santiam Christian. We are extremely happy with the caring staff that is here. The teachers, office personnel, administrators, they all go above and beyond. The Christian atmosphere and education my 3 children are receiving is exceptional. Highly recommended.
