  • Shepherd Lutheran School exists to assist the families or our congregation and our community by providing a high quality Christ-centered education for the training of lifelong Disciples of Christ.
  • Shepherd provides many opportunities for the students to excell in academics, music, and athletics.
  • Shepherd is served by three full time teachers who are qualified, dedicated, caring, and certified by the Wisconcin Evangelical Lutheran Synod.
  • We are also served by many parental volunteers and volunteers from the congregation.
  • The Shepherd Roadrunners offer students an opportunity to participate in several sports, along with other private schools in the Albuquerque area, as well as the Denver and Phoenix area.
  • Those sports include Basketball, Volleyball, Track and Cross Country.
  • Shepherd also offers the students an opportunity to sing in the School Choir or be in the Chime Tone Choir.
  • Shepherd has hosted the Reader's Digest Word Challenge the last two years. Our students also participate in city chess meets, and geography bees.
