- We strive to engender wonder and excitement about learning. Our students work with materials designed to appeal to a child's senses, especially touch and sight. Our classrooms are filled with stimulating and attractive materials arranged within easy reach. Each student is encouraged to investigate the world so that learning becomes natural and joyful. Special games teach science, mathematics, language, social skills and confidence. Child's play becomes serious learning! Classes meet from 8:45am to 3:30pm, M-F. Half-day programs are available. Attuned to the busy schedules of modern parents, SOCDS also offers supervised before-school care starting at 7:30am and after-school care until 6:30pm. The school features a full summer camp program with weekly themes.

Marketing the small private school can be done affordably and effectively. We suggest five easy steps to make that happen.
