School Reviews

SJA has been an excellent, high-achieving school until the new principal came on board for Fall 2015. Since then there have been behavior problems with a lack of discipline. Only when a severe problem is brought to the archdiocese, is the principal then act. I have personally seen parents and caregivers disregard the principal, leaving her standing and looking like an idiot. The school was also chosen to be recertified for Blue Ribbon twice since 2011 and failed recertification. Never heard what the school is doing to get certified in the future. The teachers are good and teach well. The teachers for grades 6 to 8 are awesome except for 1 who cannot control the students (due to her inability and students' disrespect). If the principal would discipline, give more than lip service, and not stay in her office, I would be extremely happy with the school.
