An amazing place, a true community of kindness. We transitioned from the public school to St Patrick's and have been thrilled for both the academic rigor, as well as the culture and spiritual and social mentoring of our child.

St. Patrick's Episcopal Day School in Thousand Oaks has been a blessing for our family. The school's mission, "To inspire and equip children to courageously transform the world," resonates through every classroom, activity, and interaction here. The level of dedication from the teachers is heartwarming. They truly know each child and work tirelessly to nurture their individual talents and abilities. It's a caring environment where kids are cheered on to reach their fullest potential. I adore their Service Learning curriculum. It's not just about academic learning; it's about molding compassionate, responsible individuals who are aware of their roles in the community. My kids have grown not just in their academic achievements, but in their understanding and care for the world around them. The variety of clubs offered keeps the kids engaged and excited. My children have had a blast exploring different interests from sports to music to robotics. They wake up excited for school, eager for the day's adventures in learning and exploring. The school's stellar performance in rigorous standardized tests speaks volumes about the solid academic foundation laid here. But more than academics, the emphasis on kindness, community involvement, and making a positive impact is what sets St. Patrick's apart. Communication from the school is always timely and informative, keeping us parents in the loop without feeling overwhelmed. The welcoming atmosphere for parent involvement makes it easy to be part of this vibrant school community. St. Patrick's is a melting pot of cultures reflecting the diversity of Thousand Oaks, creating a rich, inclusive environment for all kids. Every day, my kids come home with smiles, brimming with new learnings and heartwarming stories.I highly recommend St. Patrick's Episcopal Day School to any parent seeking a nurturing, academically strong, and values-driven education for their children. Take a tour, meet the incredible teachers, and see for yourself how this school could be the perfect place for your child to grow and thrive.

We absolutely love St. Patrick`s and found it to be the perfect fit for our two boys. The class sizes are small and the individual attention given by the teachers and teachers assistants has been really wonderful! The standard curriculum includes art, music, Spanish and computer class. But we will love the very most, is their commitment to community and kindness. Each grade works in a community service project and watching the boys learn and grow in that regard has made us so proud. We are grateful for all the teachers and administrators for creating the perfect space for our kids!

St. Patrick`s Episcopal Day School is a special place where my child has flourished the past five years. It is where he has been supported in being the best he can be academically, socially, developmentally and spiritually. After completing kindergarten in public school, my child started at St. Patrick`s in the first grade. It wasn`t anything specific or glaring that made us make the change; more of a small whisper that he should not just be surviving but thriving in his education. St. Patrick`s has exceeded my expectations in every way. First, it is a wonderful community. There are skilled and caring educators, attentive administrative staff, and the warm relationships we`ve developed with other St. Patrick`s families. The teachers have celebrated his successes and supported him where he has needed a little more help. Second, my child has blossomed with the continuity of his experience. The curriculum is well-planned and integrated. For example, the concepts he learned in third-grade science regarding water were woven into his art class where they made ceramic clay raindrop dishes and into the service-based learning project of funding a well in a community that didn`t have access to clean water. Human values concepts (kindness, compassion, honesty, perseverance) are not just professed, but practiced. The staffs are wonderful role models and the St. Patrick`s family really is a "community of kindness" in their words and deeds. Last, it is a fun place to go to school and the annual traditions that students (and parents) look forward to including family group activities, the Back-to-School Picnic, Sports Day, field trips, family fun night, Lights Out with Santa, community service projects, outdoor education overnight trips, hands-on engaging science projects, the Talent show, and cultural performances. My child is now in the sixth grade at St. Patrick`s. There is so much he is looking forward to in his final year at St. Patrick`s. He is a kind-hearted, smart, athletic, honest, contentious, and helpful kid. His experience at St. Patrick`s has enhanced these qualities. I so appreciate having found St. Patrick`s Episcopal Day School.

Our son has been at St. Patrick`s Day School from Kindergarten to 4th grade. Not only are the academics exceptional, but this school teaches kids values as well as the importance of giving back to their communities. The weekly school assembly has created an environment for my son to build confidence by speaking regularly in front of audiences and singing in the glee club. The Art, Music, Spanish, PE, and Computer programs are exceptional and allow for a well-rounded education. Leadership is emphasized through the buddy program as well as student council. One of the best things about St. Patrick`s Day School is that it is more than just a school, it is a community.

We just moved to Thousand Oaks a few years ago and were not familiar with all of the schools in the area. When we decided that moving our daughter from her school was something we wanted to pursue, someone mentioned St. Patrick`s to us. I called right away and was so surprised and impressed when they had the principal speak directly with me! Having worked in private school administration for 16 years, I knew that talking to the principal on your first phone call was something that didn`t usually happen. I toured the school, followed by my daughter spending a day there a day that ended with her telling us that she absolutely loved St. Patrick`s, felt so comfortable there, the children were all so kind, welcoming and friendly, as were all of the teachers she met. We were honored that our family was accepted into the St. Patrick`s community. Our daughter started the 4th grade there for the 2019-20 school year and now says to us "You don`t need to ask me how my day was anymore because every day is a 10 out of 10!." Since she started at St. Patrick`s, my daughter has experienced the same feelings she did on the day she visited the school. In fact, she feels so comfortable at her new school, she volunteered to speak at the chapel in the second week of school! It is so apparent that this community spends so much time not only on educating its students at an exceptional level but on the growing kind, empathetic, genuine, good, strong and community-oriented young people. As a parent, seeing the teachers engage with the students in every activity and their goals to develop the whole child is heartwarming. From their work in the classroom to the way teachers greet students and parents every morning, we feel everyone is so approachable and available. The teachers and staff not only welcome the children but the family into their community. St. Patrick`s School is truly a hidden gem.
