My child started at SCA in preschool. I immediately knew there was something special about the school—the staff poured God's love into the students, and my daughter absolutely adored everyone. The atmosphere was so welcoming that I decided to apply to be a substitute. Fast forward 6 years later, and I am now the HR/Operations Facilitator, and my daughter is finishing her last year in the elementary school. I couldn't imagine either one of us being anywhere else, and I'm so thankful that God brought us here.

I have been serving as the Head of Schools here at Sunlight Christian Academy since 2006. We started as a small preschool and eventually added higher grades due to high demand largely as a result of the amazing Christian community we provide. It is our mission that every family who enters our doors immediately feels like they are a part of our Sunlight Family. We greatly value our partnerships with parents in providing students with a top-notch spiritual and academic foundation. We care about the child as a whole and serve them according to their needs. In addition to our amazing curriculum, we provide many opportunities for fun! Being a private school allows us the freedom to incorporate weekly chapels filled with music and real-life Bible application lessons. Our Christian Character Development Program rewards positive behavior and provides incentives for students to shine God's love by offering exciting events to celebrate student success. We also provide an array of afterschool programs where students can try a variety of activities, including gardening, cooking, charm school, basketball, volleyball, soccer, cheer, and more. We believe in creating an environment where students can discover the gifts and talents God has gifted them with and have an opportunity to put them to good use. Sunlight also offers a variety of summer programs, including Christ-centered camp, scholars providing a review of curriculum content, reading bootcamp for dyslexia support, basketball clinics, performing arts camps, and so much more. Visit www.sunca.org for more information. Your Sunlight Family is waiting to welcome you home!
