At Merit School Of Stafford, Our half-day Preschool and Jr. Kindergarten programs are designed to develop the young child’s awareness of stories, words, rhymes, letters, listening and beginning handwriting skills, as well as confidence, independence and inquisitiveness about learning.
Our full-day kindergarten program strives to develop each child into a reader and writer, confident in these skills, as well as beginning math, social studies, and science concepts.
Kindergarten students are evaluated using the PALS screening in the fall, winter and spring.
