  • Transfiguration School, founded by the Carmelite Friars, is regarded as one of Westchester`s finest elementary schools because of its strong commitment to educational excellence.  Situated in historic Tarrytown, New York, Transfiguration opened its doors in 1949. 
  • Today, Transfiguration School is part of the Central Westchester Catholic School Region and continues its tradition of educational excellence.   It is not by chance that Transfiguration has earned a place of high recognition within the academic community.  Over the years, Transfiguration School has matured and grown adhering to the belief that a commitment to excellence in all areas of education would result in a school that would produce qualified, caring Christians.
