School Notes
The Trinity Christian School community has been warmly welcoming families since 1977. Trinity Christian School (TCS) is an interdenominational, co-educational school dedicated to developing the whole student to the glory of God. Trinity Christian School focuses on bringing the home, church and school into a partnership for the purpose of training the next generation. Our mission is to graduate students with a firm Biblical Foundation and an Excellent Education. In keeping with that mission, TCS invites the following:
- Families who are defined according to the Biblical perspective of marriage; that marriage is between a male and a female.
- Families who are growing in their personal Christian walk and are involved in a local Bible-believing church. Trinity Christian School requires that at least one parent have a personal saving relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Students whose academic records demonstrate proven capabilities to succeed at Trinity Christian School. Students records are carefully evaluated during the application process. Students should be performing at or about grade level.
- Students whose recommendations show a behavioral history that matches the bahavioral expectations of Trinity Christian School. Students who have been expelled should not apply until they have completed a successful year in another school.

School Reviews
5 Our TCS journey is in its 17th year now. It has been an absolute blessing. As a TCS parent, I am welcomed into the classroom anytime of any day and I am so appreciative to be so welcomed. I still recall my first opportunity to observe my daughter's kindergarten class. I was struck by how quiet and orderly things were. I took a seat at the rear just as the teacher introduced the "prayer topic" of the day - prayers for children whose parents were in jail that very day. I was awestruck as the children were instructed to "find your prayer partner" who then sat together, hand-in-hand, and offered a prayer for those children. Tears of thankfulness welled up within me! Trinity has truly helped me to be a better parent, as she has also developed academically. - Posted by Parent - Clay Enger |
5 We have raised two kids in this school and have loved almost every moment. Academically TCS is solid - the classes are small, the teachers are attentive to students' needs, and the administration communicates well with parents. We appreciate the focus on discipline and good behavior, especially towards others - bullying is very rare and is not tolerated. Athletics has been strong for years and is getting better with the addition of football and some new facilities, but we like that the school seems to be focusing more on extracurricular arts programs. And the prospects for the future are great, as the school will eventually move to a new location in the southwest part of Lubbock. It's a sacrifice we are glad we made, and we wouldn't hesitate to make it again. - Posted by Parent - Jason B |
