What Sets Us Apart:
Archway's Learning Model:
  • Archway`s model is designed around the mission to empower students. We hope to nurture each student`s love of learning, creativity and perseverance, as well as help develop a strong academic foundation.
Project Based Learning (PBL):
  • The power of Project Based Learning (PBL) to motivate and drive high level thinking and effort has been proven time and again. When designed to cross multiple subject areas and connect to the real world, PBL is a powerful way to cement important concepts and information absorbed in other learning models.
Small Groups:
  • We believe small group settings will allow our teachers to form unique bonds with each student and allow us to spot areas of learning where our students need growth.
Blended Learning:
  • Computers and other technology can have a major impact as learning tools, but they are incomplete without in-person human interaction. Blended learning combines the best of both worlds to empower lasting learning.
Mastery:
  • Mastery focused learning allows each student to fully comprehend each topic before moving on to the next one. Not only does mastery focused learning fill holes in foundational knowledge, it also removes the psychological damage of poor grades, self labeling and peer comparison.
Growth Mindset:
  • Most people operate under a "fixed" mindset. The basic core belief that some people are intelligent and good at school while others are less intelligent and therefore do poorly. We want students to look forward to challenges confidently. To do this, they will need to develop "growth" mindset.

Mrs. Gundi was my boss at the after-school program I began working at during my holidays & summers off in college. She then became my boss as I taught kindergarten for her. She has such a BIG heart for kids & helping them be successful. I can not say enough about how much I was blessed to work with her & learn from her. I can not wait to see the greatness achieved at Archway Christian Learning Center.

Mrs. Gundi was the administrator of the elementary school where my children went several years ago. She was such a loving and patient person with the children in her care. I will forever be grateful for all that she did for my own children and I can't say enough good things about her. It's exciting to see that she is once again starting school. My children are now in high school and too old to attend her school but I am positive that she will create a loving, fun, and exciting place for children to get their education. Thank you, thank you Mrs. Gundi.

I highly recommend Archway Christian Learning Center because of the school`s leadership! My daughter, who is now a junior in high school received such a strong foundation from Mrs. Talbert by being in her first grade class years ago. At the time, Talbert was Head of Schools and also dueled as a teacher. When my daughter was in kindergarten, the learning was so hands-on, she loved school. One of my favorite memories was the science project, Popcorn Experiment, the week keeping Little Bear, and the amazing field experiences. This was my child`s start! She was a National Junior Honor Society student and now, we just received word, she is eligible for the National Honor Society. She is active in extracurricular activities and is high achieving in her academics. I know our parenting has played a large part in her success, but also, a part must be attributed to her foundational learning with Mrs. Talbert`s vision, leadership, instructional strategies for the school she led. For this reason, I am happy to endorse Archway Christian Learning Center.
