I have multiple children attending Beacon, and they love it! It is unlike anything else in the area, and I've visited lots of schools. It's a smaller school, but their philosophy supports what I'm doing at home. Their philosophy is that people learn by experience, so if we want our kids to grow up to be leaders, we have to give them opportunities to lead. If we want our kids to grow up and know how to solve problems, we have to give them opportunities to solve problems. If we want them to love learning, we have to give them time to learn what they're interested in. They do all of those things at Beacon. Even in the short time they have been at school there I have seen so much growth in my kids' confidence, and excitement to learn new things on their own. I can't recommend it highly enough!
