As a parent, it is a wonderful school environment. Lots of opportunities to do what you love, whether it's sports or art or music, along with an excellent and tiered academic schedule. AP courses if you want , or steady as you go well rounded basic educational curriculum. They have service hours and community involvement. It also (as a parent) is a protected and supervised campus. It leaves the student with a grounded base to proceed to higher education and also provides a moral compass through its Christian values visible with faculty and staff. I will always be grateful that my child was a part and will be a part of the BK community.

As a parent of Bishop Kelley... I am amazed at all that is offered at this school. Academics, sports, organizations, clubs ect....There is something for everyone. My son was not big into sports. Bishop Kelley has a wonderful way for the freshman to get to know each other and include everyone. Nobody is an outsider. If you felt like you were before you came here you will definitely not feel that way once you are here. There is such an acceptance among students. You are allowed to be exactly who you want to be at this school. There are lots of opportunities for growth at this school. Me and my husband took a tour and we could not be more impressed. My child shadowed and really liked the open arms from all the kids. Make sure you put Bishop Kelley on your list to look at.

The best private school in Tulsa! Bishop Kelley not only dominates in Sports, Academic Bowl and Speech and Debate, and Student Council/ Government, it also offers your student a variety of AP classes, Honors classes, and offers them an opportunity to apply to their Brother Bernadine Scholars Program. They have hands on academic counseling that take special interest in your child! I have sent all 3 of my children to Bishop Kelley. My youngest will be a senior this year. My oldest was accepted to Pomona College in Claremont, California. Pomona is routinely in the top 5 Liberal Arts colleges in the United States. She graduated from Pomona on 2012 and is currently in Medical School at the University of Oklahoma. My son who graduated from Bishop Kelley in 2010, attended Duke University and graduated last year. He is currently in the Fuqua Business School of Marketing and Management. There are Peer support groups that get involved with your student before school even begins! They do everything to incorporate your child into the Bishop Kelley family so there is little to no anxiety for your student before the first day of school. The same is true with transfer students. The faculty is brilliant. The teachers challenge your child academically while making themselves accessible to you and your student for extra help and extra care. The administration is approachable and responsive!
