School Reviews
5 I am a former student of The Carlisle School. I just heard a song in 101.1, the Classical Station, which brought me back to my days at the school. I am now 35, so it's been quite a while, but I'm sure it's still similar. Very unique curriculum with a focus on classical music, languages, reading, physical fitness, art, and handwriting. I loved the cursive practice sheets, there was a balance beam in the middle of one of a room where we'd do challenges! I recall learning pledges in multiple different languages, and nap time with classical music playing. The courtyard play area was just the best. The school definitely attributed to my love of classical music as an adult. Such fond memories.Thank you so very much for shaping me as a young child. - Posted by Student/Alumni - Olivia |
