School Notes

  • Catholic Central accepts male students who have completed the 8th Grade. To be admitted to the 9th Grade, students must take the STS High School Placement Test, and indicate Catholic Central as a choice of high school. An application is part of the formal admission process and letters of acceptance to Catholic Central are mailed out approximately six to eight weeks after each placement test to those candidates who qualify for admission. Admission to the 10th and 11th grades is based on subjects taken in the previous school and overall GPA at the time of transfer. Catholic Central does not accept transfer students into the 12th grade. Visit our website for more information on our admissions process.

I found this school to excel in all facets: academics, athletics and social. My two boys were solidly prepared for college and participated in a variety of extracurricular activities. The school fostered a strong sense of responsibility and brotherhood and as a result, bullying and boorish behavior is kept to a minimal. As they say" Teaching goodness, discipline and knowledge."

Catholic Central has exceeded our expectations in every way. The academics are second to none, and the academic as well as the administrative teams are also top notch. They are true partners with the parents and the students feel a strong brotherhood as part of CC.

As you’ve been doing your boarding school research, you’ve likely seen ISEE/SSAT score submission requirements for your target schools, and understand how important scores are to the admissions process. Unfortunately, tremendous candidates can get bypassed because they were not able to demonstrate what they knew on test day.

Many people thought vouchers would never amount to much. Not only have they amounted to a great deal more than anybody could have thought, but vouchers have encouraged several more education choices to flourish.
